Brothers Leagues Club, Cairns is proud to offer an even better World of Entertainment with the completion of the final stage of a multi-miliion dollar renovation.
Awarded Queensland's Best Social Club at the Clubs Queensland Awards 2016, Brothers hasn't rested on its laurels and has invested in delivering a renovation that features new decor, comfortable furnishings and improved dining and entertainment spaces.
"The refurbishments are the result of feedback from our members and guests and our commitment to delivering them the best Club experience in North Queensland. The venue has been significantly upgraded in terms of a striking new decor scheme, upgraded facilities such as bar areas, new carpets, furnishings and lighting that have lifted the Club to a new level," said Group General Manager Shane Fitzgerald.
The final stage of the renovation cost $1.5 million and took two months to complete with Club Management applauding the efforts of the local firms involved in the project.
"We worked with our design partners Rubicon and are very proud of working with local tradespeople and suppliers to deliver a wonderful refurbishment. Management and Staff would like to thank our members and guests for their patience during the renovations and extend our thanks to our local suppliers for delivering such a great result," said Mr Fitzgerald.
Patrons are welcomed to the Club with a new lobby and reception area before entering the new Shamrock Bar and lounge area that has been modernised with new seating and entertainment areas.
Members and guests can also enjoy the excitement of their favourite sports in the iconic Queenslander Bar with a refreshed look and special Queenslander Bar Menu.
Renovations have also seen extensions to the popular Lanterns Cafe dining area, the Gaming Lounge and Bottleshop.
Mr Fitzgerald said the Club is always looking to improve as a venue.
"We look to refresh the Club every few years as part of our commitment to offering members and guests the region's best service, facilities and entertainment offerings."
