Function Facilities
Brothers have four different styles of rooms available to suit any style and size of function. From the ‘auditorium' to the three ‘presidential rooms', the executive-styled ‘boardroom' and ‘Dreams cocktail lounge', each venue has a different ambience to suit any style of event.
Brothers Leagues Club is well reputed for its function alternatives, offering venues for both intimate occasions and large corporate events (such as conferences, seminars and trade shows).
The Auditorium
The Auditorium is a popular choice for large functions and is a region standout due to its unique and professional facilities, and its capacity. It provides the region with one of the largest licensed venues for trade shows, concerts, themed & charity dinners and conferences. It has also hosted high profile and extravagant events such as the Miss Universe gala evening, The Salon Culinaire, Bride of the Year and The Annual Cairns Post Sports Awards, and Boxing Events to name a few.
The fully air-conditioned room has complete audio visual facilities such as in-house sound system, three 3x3 projector screens, ceiling mounted data projectors, lapel, radio & stationary microphones, telephone, facsimile and photocopying access, a large stage with complete backstage facilities including lockable dressing rooms, shower & toilets and even a secure "Celebrity Entrance".
The Auditorium has an extensive variety of themes, backdrops and decorations. Sound, Lighting and Video Technicians are also available. The Auditorium has fully serviced bar facilities, a large balcony, toilets, a sound and lighting control box and a service elevator for easy loading access. The room is also tiered with runway lights lining the ramps which makes the room completely wheelchair friendly.
The Presidential Rooms
The Presidential Rooms include the George Leary Room, Cyril Baird Room and Dutchy VanDorseen Room. Named in recognition of three former club directors who each made significant contributions to the establishment of Brothers Leagues Club. The rooms have soundproof concertina walls separating them, which can be adjusted to suit any size function.
Dreams Cocktail Lounge
Dreams Cocktail Lounge is a favourite when it comes to casual functions. From celebrations, cocktail parties, birthdays, engagements and anniversaries through to small dinners and pre-show drinks, Dreams Cocktail Lounge caters for up to 200 people. Alternatively, it is also ideally suited as a ‘break-out' facility for conferences and is often used as a location for morning and afternoon tea for functions being held in the Presidential Rooms.
The Boardroom
The Boardroom caters for intimate and executive functions, and is situated on the mezzanine floor. Fitted with comfortable full-length Meeting Table, adjustable lighting, air-conditioning, a fully serviced bar and its own large private Balcony, the Boardroom is a popular choice for those requiring a secure and corporate atmosphere.
Brothers is able to cater for functions from 10 people to 1200 people.
