Two of the greats of Californian punk rock, Strung Out and No Use for a Name, will be taking in as many cities as they can squeeze into one month this July when they embark on the Strangers in the Outback tour! No Use for a Name have no idea what to expect, but Strung Out are no strangers to our far flung corners, having played over 50 shows here with Frenzal Rhomb back in 2001. Last time they took a bunker mentality, cramming 10 people into a 4 sleeper campervan and spending much of the bumpy ride peering fearfully out of the windows in search of yowies and Ivan Milat.  Stronger for the experience, Strung Out will lead No Use for a Name into the great unknown for another round of regional (and metropolitan) touring madness. If you live in one of these towns, and rudimentary statistics say that you probably do, you’ll hopefully show up to share some local knowledge and play a role in some of the crazy touring stories that Strung Out and No Use for a Name will no doubt return home with…

With a fresh approach, this talented four piece who’ve been together since school, have somewhat re-invented themselves introducing a more eclectic sound. It’s been a healthy start with ‘Snakeskin’, the first single from ‘Breed Obsession’, debuting at number 30 on the ARIA national album chart and taking out the number 16 spot on Triple j’s hottest 100. The track is also currently featured in all Network Ten promotions for the AFL season. Released on Saturday July 12, Gyroscope’s new single ‘Australia’ delves deeper into the band’s pop attributes delivering a poignant tuneful track which draws you in with its acoustic opening and takes you on a melodic ride as its marching-band beat and lush strings build to its magic crescendo. ‘Australia’ is testimony to a young band willing to challenge themselves and with this track they’ve superbly crafted an anthemic major crossover hit which has already been embraced widely by radio around the country.

Packed with passion, commitment, and sincere dedication to their art, Gyroscope are currently the hottest export from the West. They’re completely focused and ready to deliver powered pop-rock sets for fans as they make their way around the nation. It’s with great pleasure we announce SHIHAD as special guests for the Australia tour, they compliment one of the great bills to be seen in Australia this year with the announcement they are to tour almost everywhere with Gyroscope. Shihad return in splendid fashion with their new album ‘Beautiful Machine’. Spawning the glorious radio singles ‘One Will Hear The Other’ and ‘Vampires’, along with signature heavy groove laden numbers ‘Chameleon’, ‘Rule The World’, and the punk leanings of ‘Count It Up’, ‘Beautiful Machine’ again demonstrates Shihad as masters of reinvention. For well over a decade Shihad’s rock peers have acknowledged the band as one of the greatest live acts in the world. The guys have shared stages with some of the greats, Tool, AC/DC, Faith No More, Metallica and can count Iggy and Mr Grohl among others as fans. With both bands having released incredible new albums and both sharing reputations for incendiary live performances the Australia tour is one not to be missed!

Add Sugar Army, one of the most exhilarating new young bands to come out of WA for sometime, to the mix and they’ll certainly complete what will be one serious rockin’ ride on the Australia tour!

Shannon Noll is going back on the road with the "Turn It Up" Tour, his first major national run in two years. The 17-date tour, will run from June to July with shows all down the East Coast.

Following his successful trip to the USA where he was the New York ambassador for G'Day USA: Australia Week, Shannon can't wait to hit the road and get back to his fans, making stops at cities in more than half the Australian territories. His June/July run is the first of a two-leg tour, with the second run planned for September/October. To top that, Shannon also has a new single from his latest album 'Turn It Up' titled 'Everybody Needs A Little Help' and like his smash 'Lift', it sends spirits soaring with his poignant lyrics and raw honesty. "I wanted to get the edge that 'Lift' had back in there, to say no matter what you're going through, it's OK. You don't have to do it alone," says Shannon. 'Turn It Up', his third and current album, debuted at #3 on the ARIA albums chart. It has already produced one top 10 success with 'Loud', giving the boy from Condoblin a record-setting total of 10 consecutive top ten singles, including five #1s on the ARIA singles chart. Add his four ARIA award nominations and it's clear that in just a few short years the three-time running AVMA Best Male Artist has become one of Australia's most successful, iconic and best-loved performers.
